Kharifa Abdulai Kumara

Kharifa Abdulai Kumara launched DreamDay Technology Limited in 2019 with the aim of providing free quality education for students across Sierra Leone. Under the Company Act No. 5 of 2009, DreamDay Technology Limited was registered as a private company in 2020.

Kharifa Abdulai Kumara, the company’s founder and CEO, began assisting students at UNIMTECH and other colleges such as Linkowking, Njala, BlueCreast, and others. In the following months, he created a WhatsApp group and assisted more learners.

In the search for finding more ways to help, contributions were made by Muhammad Ibrahim Bangura, Former Dean of the School of Technology, and Ing Amb. Ibrahim Abdulai Sawaneh, Former Director of Academic Affairs, from the Institute of Advanced Management and Technology (IAMTECH) now known as the University of Management and Technology respectively, which gave the inception of the DreamDay University as the first and only FREE online learning platform (eLearning) in Sierra Leone.

Among the products and services being offered, the ‘E-Learning’ platform of DreamDay University aims to educate people on how they can learn from various courses and programs at different levels, share knowledge among their peers, and collaboratively support and expand its outreach programs. Its purpose is to educate people of all works of life that are pursuing or wish to pursue higher learning and to help them on how they can help improve their academic learning experience using the websites and leading to successful job employment or entrepreneurship career.
